Topgolf first approached Jeff to analyze the Kansas City metro’s ability to sustain a successful venue.  At that time, with fewer than a dozen operating U.S. locations, Topgolf’s performance in cold-weather climates was not certain.  After reviewing significant data, Topgolf elected to move forward in the market, and Jeff helped focus their site selection efforts on specific portions of the KC metro, based on demographics, corporate tenant composition and traffic patterns.  Topgolf eventually selected the Overland Park, Kansas location, where key initiatives led to a much quicker-than-typical approval process.  The Overland Park location has become a notable success for Topgolf, and is a key feature of Kansas City’s entertainment offerings for residents and visitors.
